Ms. Barbara Dublin-Peterkiin, a practicing doctor of Naturopahty, is regarded as an Entrepreneur of distinction as exemplified by the uniqueness of her business ideas and multifaceted nature of her business enterprise. She is founder and Chief Executive Officer of B’S Beauty Circle & Naturopathic Centre, founder an Director of Visions of Excellence Development Centre and following her initial success, she has successfully achieved vertical integration through the establishment of 3R Health Resort.

Dr. Peterkin was awarded the EMPRETECO Award ‘For Application of the EMPRETEC Entrepreneurship Principals to Business Expansion and Community Development on Nov 29, 2012 at the Annual Guyana Manufacturers’ and Services Association President’s Award Dinner. In June, 2013 Dr. Barbara had the distinction at EMPRETEC Guyana’s 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner of being recognized among ten recipients of EMPRETEC trained in the ten years of EMPRETEC Guyana operating in Guyana.

On account of her high profile she was one of the two business personalities selected to participate in the Caribbean Women Entrepreneurship form held in March 2012 by the United States (Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues SGWI). Followed by Vital Voices Programme Women Entrepreneurship in the Americas in September 2012 in Managua, Nicaragua.

Dr. Peterkin is committed to her personal advancement as an entrepreneur, this is evidenced by her current participation in the Cherie Blaire Foundation as a mentee and training as a Fellow in the Vital Voices GROW Fellowship Programme (2013-2014). Member of Women’s Entrepeunral Network (WEN) Caribbean and is also one of the two leading representative of WEN Guyana Chapter (Representing women in small to medium business in Guyana).
